Abstract

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) is one of common head and neck cancers which mainly threaten people in Southeast Asia. PET/CT play an important roles in radiotherapy for NPC. This article reviews the PET/CT in the diagnosis, staging, guiding treatment, monitoring of therapy efficacy, focal residual and recurrence, prognosis and progress of NPC.
